Bidding begins for £20m Luton project
The University of Bedfordshire has started looking for contractors to design, build and deliver a multi-use science block at its Luton Campus.
This is the latest project for the University, since Kier and Willmott Dixon designed and built its new library building.
The University expect to appoint the preferred contractor in September 2016. Once appointed, the principal contractor will carry out the pre-construction stage of the project.
Currently, the project involves demolition, refurbishment and construction work on the 60,000 sq ft site. The build will become a science block for the computer science department, and serve as technology hub to improve the quality of teaching and research at the University's Park Square Campus.
The PQQ is available from the In Tend Web Portal. Check the Construction Enquirer website for more details.
