Data capture, scoring and profiling Profiler is easy to implement and follows a simple process in order to bring visibility to key business data. The initial data capture phase is the entry point for all members of the supply chain. Using an easy to use webportal, Profiler captures basic company information about them, where they are based and what type of work they can perform for you. This creates a consistent base line database of your supply chain.
The next stage is to create a tailored questionnaire that covers the key data sets that you wish to measure. Our support team will help you select relevant questions from a master list and assign a weighting to them that is relevant to your business from a pre-determined set of key areas.
Once the supplier has completed and returned the quetionnaire, responses are scored and profiled, and a clear supplier ‘portrait’ is built – highlighting their strengths, weaknesses and areas of exposure.

The performance scores generated by the data capture and profiling stages are based upon a self-assessment process. Whilst in most cases this will provide you with the information and profile that suits your needs, it is recommended to take the process a stage further and validate the integrity of the information provided. The validation process, carried out by Santia’s highly experienced risk and compliance teams, provides the assurance that the picture presented by the relevant members of the supply chain is a true and accurate representation of their operation.
