TrustMark is the award-winning scheme supported by the Government, consumer groups and the industry to help domestic buyers find reputable firms to do repair, maintenance and improvement work inside and outside the home.

Exor are able to offer local government trading standards 2 options to introduce and support the Government endorsed TrustMark scheme:

• Own brand service where Exor act as a service provider undertaking 90% of the administration, allowing the local authority to actively promote the scheme in the local area, under their brand.
• Promote TrustMark in the local area using Exor’s status as a service provider.

Exor sees a powerful connection between a number of stakeholders at the local level that will help translate this important  initiative into action. The main groups are:

• Local domestic buyers - looking for a safe and reliable local contractors 
• Local business - an efficient mechanism to identify their status and provide access to new business opportunities
• Local Government - support and promotion of a government backed scheme that supports local people and business

TrustMark - utilise government endorsed standards to deliver local solutions for local suppliers in partnership with local authorities.  This is now being extended to lower level works within selected areas of local government.

If a firm displays the TrustMark logo it is known that a trade association or other certification organisation that TrustMark have approved, has checked the firm and found that it meets the standards the Government has set. In other words: A government backed solution to address the ‘Cowboy / Rogue Trader’ issue.
