Exor is committed to cutting red tape
The SSiP Forum:
  • Acts as an umbrella organisation to facilitate mutual recognition between health and safety pre-qualification schemes wherever it is practicable to do so
  • Actively advises and influences clients about acceptable interpretation, and appropriateness of health and safety competence standards in UK schemes
  • Embraces the core guidance on competence and training in the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, 2007

Since its launch in May 2009, SSiP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) activity has increasingly been able to cut pre-qualification costs and bureaucracy in the supply chain. With the ever-present prospect of government legislation to reduce wasteful and excessive pre-qualification, SSiP is concentrating on making cross-recognition of member schemes as effective as possible, and on highlighting the resulting savings to the supply chain.

As a founding member of SSiP, Exor is committed to the reduction of bureaucracy and elimination of duplication of effort within prequalification, and together with the other members, SSiP helps both buyers and suppliers save millions of pounds a year.
